THE ART OF COOKIE DECORATING

Learn the basics of cookie decorating with royal icing. Basic techniques include flooding, piping and wet on wet, etc. Decorating utensils will be provided for use in class and all materials are included. No prior experience needed! Each attendee will leave with the knowledge and confidence to decorate a set of 5 different designs. Please register at least 72 hours prior to class as cookies are baked ahead of time. No refunds for this class will be accepted within 48 hours of class. Specific cookie designs will be available online at pbgfl.gov/recreation.

THE ABC’s OF DECORATED COOKIES: ONE DAY WORKSHOP

Are you ready to master the ABC’s cookie decorating? In this interactive class, you'll learn the essential techniques for creating beautiful, professional-quality sugar cookies. We will prepare and bake delicious cookies. Discover the perfect recipe for Royal Icing and how to achieve two consistencies for flooding and piping. Explore creative methods like writing, transfers, sprinkles, wet-on-wet designs, and stenciling. No prior experience is needed, and all decorating utensils will be provided for use during the class. Each attendee will leave with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to bake and decorate your own impressive cookies. You'll be delighted to take home four (4) unique designs to enjoy or share with your loved ones. Please bring your own lunch for the midday break. Water and snacks will be provided.

Join us for a journey through artisan flavors! Indulge in a hands-on exploration of traditional bold, craft flavors with this immersive three-part culinary experience. Each session dives deep into the art and satisfaction of making exceptional food from scratch. Learn chocolate making, creating unique and themed charcuterie boards, and the art of sour dough pizza making. Chocolate making class materials needed: two 5-cup Tupperware containers and a large spoon.
