Fairchild Avenue Project

City of Palm Beach Gardens Fairchild Avenue Transportation Alternatives Project FM#450829-1-58-01

The proposed project will include the addition of a buffered bike lane on the north side of Fairchild Avenue roadway as well as a 10-foot-wide shared use path on the south side of the right of way. This project was funded through an FDOT administered grant.

Proposed improvements

• New 5-foot-wide buffered bike lane
• New 10-foot-wide shared use path
• Asphalt resurfacing and new striping
• Additional landscaping

Construction information

• Construction Start Date: May 2026
• Anticipated Completion Date: January 2027
• Construction Cost Estimate: $2,000,000.00
