The City of Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue Training Division is dedicated to ensuring that all personnel maintain the highest level of operational readiness. Training encompasses three primary disciplines: fire suppression, emergency medical services (EMS), and technical rescue. The department utilizes a state-of-the-art fire training tower and an advanced EMS simulation lab to provide realistic, hands-on learning experiences.
New recruits participate in an intensive 12-week Recruit Academy designed to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to serve as Palm Beach Gardens Firefighters.
The training division is also responsible for conducting the driver engineer’s academy for newly promoted Driver Engineers, and the officer development academies for newly promoted Lieutenants, Captains, District Captains and Battalion Chiefs.
