[ARCHIVED] Declutter Your Medicine Cabinets!

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day April 27 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The Palm Beach Gardens Police Department wants to help you with your spring cleaning! Declutter your medicine cabinets and get rid of old, unwanted prescription or over-the-counter medications at the DEA National Drug Take Back Event. You can drop off old medications at the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department (10500 N. Military Trail) on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You can dispose of medication in its original container or by removing it from the container and disposing it directly into the disposal box. Remember to remove any identifying information from drug containers. Liquid products should remain sealed in its original container. Intra-venous solutions, injectables and syringes will NOT be accepted. Vape pens and e-cigarette devices can be dropped off with the batteries removed. If the batteries cannot be removed, check with large electronic chain stores who may accept the devices for proper disposal.
