Join us as we honor the brave men and women who have served our country at the City of Palm Beach Gardens’ Veterans Salute ceremony. This heartfelt tribute will feature a special guest speaker, Max Lohman, U.S. Navy Veteran. Come together with the community to show gratitude and respect for those who have defended our freedom.
This year's keynote speaker is R. Max Lohman, Jr. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and the University of Maryland School of Law. Max is a former Naval Aviator, flying the SH-60B Seahawk helicopter with the HSL-46 Grandmasters where he was selected as the 1999 squadron and wing “Pilot of the Year” and the 1999 Naval Helicopter Association “Pilot of the Year.” Max was deployed twice to the Persian Gulf, amassing ~1500 total flight hours, with ~500 hours of combat flight time and more than 500 shipboard landings. Max has been the city attorney since 2008.
