Art in Public Places.

About the Program

Public art plays a vital role in Palm Beach Gardens, bringing creativity and vibrancy to the community while transforming public spaces. The City has a dedicated Art in Public Places Advisory Board supported by the City Council and Staff to administer, the Art in Public Places program to ensure that art remains an integral part of the City’s identity. As the City grows, so does the presence of accessible, inspiring art that enhances public spaces and enriches the community, where the City is proud to present our fondest treasures.

To support this initiative, all new nonresidential developments (excluding City projects) with total vertical construction costs of $1 million or more must allocate 1% of those costs toward public art. Developers have the option to either install artwork on-site or contribute the equivalent amount to the City's Art Impact Fund.

Funds from the City’s Art Impact Fund can be used Citywide to support various art-related enhancements. This commitment ensures that art remains an integral part of Palm Beach Gardens, fostering a vibrant and culturally rich environment for all.
