In compliance with the United States Lifesaving Association, the Aquatic Complex will clear the facility if lightning is within a 10-mile radius at any time. The Aquatic Complex uses the Weather Bug application to determine if lightning is within a 10-mile radius of the facility. If lightning is within this radius, or if lightning is seen, a whistle will be blown indicating it is time to evacuate the pool deck, and all patrons will be asked to clear the deck immediately, present their entrance receipt to be stamped for a raincheck. Rainchecks will be valid for 72 hours. Only paid admissions are eligible for stamped receipts.
