Welcome to Camp Gardens Academy! Fill your child’s summer with fun, excitement and unique educational programming with our Camp Gardens Academy specialty camps. Whether your child loves learning about nature & science, music, dance or art - we have it all.
All camp supplies for Camp Gardens Academy camps are included. Activities from 7:30-9:00am and 3:00-6:00pm will be provided by PBG City staff. Please bring a lunch, water bottle and 2-3 snacks daily. Specialty programming begins at 9:00am and ends at 3:00pm. Once enrolled, check for weekly emails for more details about your child’s specialty camp.
GLOBAL MASK-MAKERS: A SUMMER ART ADVENTURE CAMP
Travel the world through art at Global Mask Makers, a hands-on summer camp for students in 3rd–6th grades! Campers will explore mask-making traditions from cultures across the globe while designing and creating their own unique masks. Join us for a summer filled with art, culture, and creativity - one mask at a time! Each day, students will discover how masks are used in storytelling, celebrations, rituals, and performances in different parts of the world. Using a variety of materials, campers will learn basic design techniques, symbolism, and craftsmanship. This course encourages creativity, cultural curiosity, and self-expression. Campers will experiment with color, pattern, texture, and form while developing fine motor skills and artistic confidence. The session will culminate in a mini gallery walk or showcase where students can proudly share their creations and the stories behind them. No prior art experience needed—just imagination and curiosity!

LITTLE VETERINARIAN SCHOOL ® DOG CAMP 
At Little Veterinarian School, kids will take on the role of a veterinarian and learn how to perform a nose-to-tail exam, the importance of proper pet nutrition, perform a tick check, and more. We begin all Little Veterinarian School programs with a white coat ceremony and end with a graduation ceremony.

ROBOT FUN & CHEMICAL CREATION CAMP

Get your mind in motion in this fun science mash-up! Unleash your inner robot engineer! Come assemble up to five different vehicles, three different dinosaurs, and two windmills as you work on and take home your very own X in1 Robot kit. In Chemical Creations, come experience a hands-on world of fun as you conduct a variety of scientific experiments! Discover scientific concepts and train to work like a scientist. Campers take home their very own Chemistry Lab Kit. Experience many exciting experiments in this fascinating and educational program!

YOUNG ROCKERS CAMP 
Learn how to play drums, electric guitar, ukulele, bass, and keyboards! Sing and rock out! Previous experience in singing, acting or playing instruments is a plus but not necessary, and all instruments are provided! Kids will learn the basics of how to play popular rock instruments and will eventually focus on their favorites which will be featured in a Friday performance! The Young Rockers camp will introduce kids to easy rock and pop music riffs and songs! Kids will gain confidence by learning how to play instruments, performing on-stage, and sharing in the joy of playing with others in a band. Participants will spend their day drumming, singing, dancing, playing instruments, learning songs, and creating music. Kids will also star in a music video and record their vocals and instruments in the studio. The week also includes a professional photo shoot and free digital copies. Important note: Camp participants must be able to function independently in a busy, stimulating environment and is not recommended for those sensitive to loud sound.

At Little Doctor School, kids will take on the role of a doctor and learn how the body and organs work, how to use medical instruments, administer first aid, and even tie knots like real surgeons. We begin all Little Doctor School programs with a white coat ceremony and end with a graduation ceremony.

Along the way, students will explore their artistic potential while learning important sustainable art techniques, emphasizing the use of eco-friendly practices and materials throughout the creative process.

ELECTRICITY, MAGNETMANIA & SKY HIGH ENGINEERING CAMP 
Get your mind in motion as you dive into the exciting world of electronics and magnetism through hands-on experiments that will leave you buzzing with creativity. Campers will take home their very own circuit kit, packed with 60 colorful snap-together pieces! Get ready for jaw-dropping demonstrations, including generating electricity with a handheld generator and watching a powerful magnet work its magic. Have you ever wondered how bridges span huge distances and how skyscrapers stay standing? In Sky High Engineering, you will work with and take home your very own Bridges and Skyscrapers Set! With your kit, you can build up to 20 model building experiments that each demonstrate a basic principle of mechanical physics or structural engineering in a hands-on way. Come bring out the architect side of you as you enter the fascinating world of structural engineering and explore the magic of STEM!

ART ADVENTURES LAB CAMP

Fill your day with color! Art projects for the week are geared towards a variety of creative styles. Create a portrait, a still life, florals and landscapes and draw your favorite animal. Learn to paint and draw what you see. Campers use varied materials and media-colored pencils, watercolor and pastels. We will explore the art of papermaking and cartooning. CRAZY GAMES CAMP

Looking for an action-packed summer camp? Let your child play in a big way this summer with Crazy Games. Your child will participate in daily inflatable game competitions and win prizes at our ‘ExerPrize’ booth! Our high energy camp promotes increased physical activity in a fun way! CHESS WIZARDS CAMP

Join us this summer for tons of challenging chess lessons, exciting games, and fabulous prizes at Chess Wizards camp! You'll improve your chess skills, meet new friends, and work out your most powerful muscle - your brain. Our camps include fun team chess games (like Corner Chess), recess time (of course), snacks, tournaments, and puzzles. Each camper receives a T-shirt, trophy, and puzzle folder. We include all the materials necessary for your child to participate, but full-day campers should bring lunch and all campers should bring an AM and/or PM snack. Unleash your brain power and spend part of your summer with Chess Wizards!

They will also have fun with engineering; designing and building roller coasters, taking on the challenges of bouncy and more during this camp for thinkers and builders.

Registration begins on February 2, 2026 for Palm Beach Gardens residents only. Spaces are limited, register early! Non-resident registration will begin March 2, 2026 (if space allows). Payment must be made in full at time of registration, or by “Play-A-Way”.
It is recommended to register online at https://egov.pbgfl.com/webtrac/web/login.html. Should you need assistance with your username and/or password, please email recinfo@pbgfl.com. Parents and guardians may also register at any City service desk: Burns Road Community Center, Palm Beach Gardens Tennis & Pickleball Center, Riverside Youth Enrichment Center or the Palm Beach Gardens Aquatic Complex. Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) is the recommended payment type for camps. Cash payments are also accepted at the Burns Road Community Center, Tennis & Pickleball Center or the Aquatic Complex. Checks are not accepted.
Register for two weeks or more of camp per child and only pay a deposit equal to one week of camp (per child). From there, you can make installment payments towards the balance until May 1, 2026 at 5pm. Accounts not paid in full by May 1, 2026 will be subject to registration cancellation. Play-A-Way is available for in person registration at any City service desk: Burns Road Community Center, Palm Beach Gardens Tennis & Pickleball Center, or the Palm Beach Gardens Aquatic Complex.
A non-refundable fee of $1 per child will be charged for waitlist enrollments. This fee must be paid with a credit card. Should a spot open on the waitlist and the parent/guardian confirms that they still want the child to attend that camp, the credit card used to pay the $1 waitlist fee will be charged for the balance of the week of camp.
As part of our ongoing efforts to verify the Palm Beach Gardens residency status of those who receive resident discounts for our programs, you may be asked periodically to provide proof of residency in the form of a government issued ID (driver’s license), rental/lease agreement, and/or other agency-issued documents (FPL, Seacoast, Xfinity, cell phone, etc) that contain your name and PBG address.
Participants who reside within the City of Palm Beach Gardens boundaries support Recreation facilities and programs through property taxes; therefore, residents receive a discounted fee on programs offered. In order to receive the City resident rates, youth participants listed on the registration form must reside with at least one parent/ guardian within the City of Palm Beach Gardens boundaries.
To check residency status, please enter your address at pbgrec.com/residency. If your address does not appear, you will be charged the non-resident fees.
Camp cancellations must be processed through your account online at www.pbgrec.com/login. Online cancellations will allow parents/guardians to receive their refund immediately if the camp was originally paid for with a credit card. If you paid with cash (checks not accepted), you should expect a refund check in the mail within 2-3 weeks. The cancellation policy is as follows:
- 4 business days or more before the scheduled start date: No fees charged; full refund. *
- 3 business days or less before the scheduled start date: 50% fees withheld from refund; If spot can be refilled from wait list, full refund. *
- On or after the scheduled start date: No refund unless spot can be refilled from wait list. If so, pro-rated refund (if applicable). *
*If your child cannot attend camp due to a serious injury or illness, a doctor’s note must be immediately sent to ProCare for review. Refunds will not be issued for single-day illnesses.
Camp Gardens will use ProCare software for daily sign in/out and verify pick up persons for your child. Not only will this mobile-based system save trees, but it will also allow our camp staff to communicate more effectively. Registered parents/guardians will receive either emails or push notifications regarding field trip updates, pictures of campers having an awesome time, boo boo reports, authorized pick up notifications, and much more. New camp parents/guardians must create a ProCare account by enrolling before your child’s first day of camp: Procare Enrollment
A fee of $15 for each portion of 15 minutes will be issued for each participant picked up after the scheduled ending time. There is no “grace” period.
